LAMP DESIGN

My client wants a lamp that is fitted to his interests and can blend into his workspace/gaming space. A lamp that can act as both a decorative item and functional lamp that my client can change the colours of. My client doesn't want a boring and plain lamp he wants something unique and futuristic, with sci-fi elements because of his interests of StarWars and Fortnite. He also wants the lamp to be easily moved around without taking up a lot of space on the desk/table so it needs to be lightweight and slim.

My client for this project is my 8 year old nephew, Liam. He is half Chinese and half English with an outgoing and active personality. His interests include gaming, Star Wars and football.

STRENGTHS AND IMPROVEMENTS NEEDED

After the back and forth process of asking for clients feedback of my concepts and designs, we landed on one design that the client particularly liked. It included all the specifications and functions the client wanted and I think it turned out pretty well.

What could be improved is alternative ideas for controls which is currently a touchscreen panel, and also the colours and materials I have chosen.
